4 C’s series: Cut

It is, perhaps, the most important aspect of a diamond. The Cut refers to the quality of its angles, maximizing the fire, brilliance and overall visual with proportions, symmetrical facets, scintillation and finishing details.

Explanation about diamond cut

This grade measures the light performance as it hits the gem, bounces around and reflects within, ultimately returning to the naked eye. The cutting directly impacts the amount of shine achieved, with angles, locations, sizes and shapes that determine the sparkle that you see.


A diamond with ideal proportions will have great luster, light, will look full of life and its value will be high accordingly.

  • Excellent

  • Very Good

  • Good

  • Fair

  • Poor.
